Dancing Hands Mindful Movement Class
Join Liscia for her live virtual “Dancing Hands Mindful Movement Class”, offered every morning, Monday - Friday at 9am. This is a 45 min self-care practice focused on slowing down and tuning in. The intention is to connect with how we are feeling and move from a place of mindfulness, increasing mobility, energy, & strength while also cultivating a sense of peace and calm thoughout the body and mind. As tensions unwind and the body relaxes, pain held in the tissues generally lessens and “aha” moments are revealed to us. Liscia started this class because movement has always been the perfect antidote to stress for her and regular meditation, a saving grace. Practicing with her mom on zoom everyday has been so much fun and beneficial. Liscia blends Gentle Yoga Poses, Breathwork, Self Massage, Energy Generating Practices, Relaxation and Mindfulness techniques, & Intuitive Movement Explorations to guide herself and others into a more relaxed and awakened state of Being. Movements are kept simple and playful and the invitation is always to listen to your body, adapting in anyway that feels good for you. Text or Call Liscia at 619-573-0505 if you have any questions or would like to receive a free month to experience the class. And…. you can buy a membership for daily access to these classes by following the “Book Now” Button below or on any page throughout this website and going to “Memberships” under “Bodywork Services”.
This movement class is perfect for anyone looking to cultivate a regular practice of “tuning in” for self care, people who are retired, work from home, have a flexible schedule, and/or who feel limited physically in one way or another and need to be extra tender with themselves and mindful with the way they move in their body. Whether you decide that you want to join us most mornings, only once a week, or just once in a blue moon, You are welcome anytime!
Things to have nearby if you have them … a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a Bolster or cushion, a strap, a chair, and a blanket… and no worries if you don’t have these things. Sometimes we start sitting, sometimes standing, sometimes in a chair and you are always invited to adapt to make the movement feel good for your body.
